Online Fortune Cookie Collection

I have the strange habit of collecting the fortunes I receive in fortune cookies at Asian restaurants (growing for more than 10 years!).   I hope I can find them all - I find them turning up in the strangest places - and I think many have been lost during my numerous moves.  So, perhaps...  Coming soon... my rare and never-before-seen collection of fortunes!

Bubba's BBQ - "It's not just 'World Famous,' it's Legendary!!"

As my BBQ "fame" continues to spread, I may begin exploring my ideas of a restaurant, but online.  Since I don't have the time (or funding) to begin my restaurant business just yet, why not start it virtually?  I'll be thinking of ways to do this, and your ideas are welcome!  I may begin revealing some of my product ideas - T-Shirts, posters, etc.  MAYBE even a recipe or two.  (Don't count on my secret beef marinade any time soon!)  A first step might be narrowing down the proposed names for the restaurant, now that I've decided on my slogan!  Any restaurant name suggestions?  I'll have to upload the first logo I created for a huge BBQ party I had a few years ago.

My Favorite Quotes

Way back in high school, I got in the habit of jotting down those "special phrases" - the ones that make you chuckle even years later.  Depending on the retrieval situation, I may put online the famous "Spot Quotes" as inspired by the great Keith Summerson himself.  Since then, I have largely dropped the habit, primarily because I'm too busy spewing out all of my own nonsense in emails to everyone who would rather I didn't.  In any case, for those of you who know "Spot," keep an eye out!

"Just A Walk in the Woods"

Maybe...  depending upon popular demand, I might finally record a detailed, written account of my near brush with death.  Some of you know the story about my bloody entanglement with a rutting deer one winter day many years ago on my uncle's farm in Iowa.   For those of you who keep telling me I should write it all down, your wish may be granted!  We'll see.
